Grass-Tree flower spikes are an incredibly exciting and important part of life in the Australian bush. They provide food for a multitude of insect and bird species. During our time at Wilson’s Prom (the local nickname for the park), we spent two days photographing these incredible specimens that were triggered into flowering due to a recent fire. The sunset colours brought the perfect energy to this shot.
